Performs its job admirably, but the length of the strap is shorter than expected and a pain to install properly.

To install, you need to pull the metal clip through the plastic slider. Midway through, you have to twist the metal clip ninety degrees. That process is done twice (at the front and back of the slider) to get it off. Then you thread the metal clip through the rear attachment point, so the plastic slider is on the side of the attachment point that faces forwards. Then you reverse the process, threading the metal clip through the plastic slider.

It’s harder than it sounds, requiring either good hand strength or tool use to get it past the twisting point. It took me about 45 minutes to get it done. But once it’s on, it’s on.

Once you figure out how to get he sling on, from the first review above, it’s all down hill from there. Took me less than 2 minutes to put on. Thank you Robert.

Very functional and effective for its low price. And Outdoor Connection is simply great to deal with. A+ customer service. I am very pleased and I will purchase from Outdoor Connection again. 5 stars!

Great sling but a little tricky to get installed. Outdoor connection should put installation instruction on the package.

Does not work with the Magpul Zuhkof AK folding butt stock because the slider buckle on the sling is fatter than the slot on the stock. Will need buy additional hardware or add a rope loop through the stock for the sling to attach to. The rope loop is easiest but is ugly.

Not really the AK sling’s fault.
